We have doped tungsten with 0.5% and 1.0% (by weight) of lanthanum oxide (La₂O₃) to improve its creep resistance and recrystallisation temperature. 

Thanks to the fine distribution of oxide particles within its structure, our lanthanum oxide-doped tungsten is also easier to process. 

The work function of lanthanum oxide-doped tungsten is significantly lower than that of pure tungsten. Lanthanum oxide-doped tungsten is therefore a popular choice for ion sources and lamp electrodes.
